How to Use the Preferences Tab in Logo Grid Generator™
Learn how to fine-tune gridline behavior and activate circular trajectories using the Preferences Tab.

The Preferences Tab gives you advanced control over how gridlines and circular trajectories behave — perfect for fine-tuning the structure of your logo grid, especially in more complex or curved designs.
These features are available exclusively in the full version of Logo Grid Generator™, included in the Gridit™ subscription Adobe Illustrator Extension.

The Gridline Sensitivity slider controls how strict or relaxed the extension is when detecting angles for gridline generation.
There are three levels of sensitivity:
Low:
Very rigid. Only detects vertical and horizontal angles that repeat throughout the logo.
Medium:
More relaxed. Detects vertical, horizontal, and diagonal angles — even if they don’t appear multiple times.
High:
Same as Medium, but also detects vertical and horizontal circular shapes — ideal for logos with curves or arcs.
🎯 Use Low for precise, geometric logos and High for rounded, organic shapes.

Circular Trajectories generate curved gridlines that follow the shape of arcs or circles in your logo. Great for designs that include rounded elements or radial symmetry.
Toggle on the Circular Trajectories switch in the Preferences Tab
Choose the Gridline Sensitivity level (recommended: Medium or Low)
Select the number of circles per curve using the dropdown
💡 The more circles you choose, the denser your curved grid will appear — useful for detail-heavy designs.
